Join us to learn about scholarship strategies, FAFSA navigation, and sustainable funding from our dynamic program team, ISAC and Marquez Financial Services. Light refreshments will be provided, and you'll connect with valuable community resources at our tabling session.
Breaking Barriers: More Than Money, True Wealth Starts Here
Join us for a free Spanish-language community workshop, "Rompiendo Barreras: Más Que Dinero, La Verdadera Riqueza Comienza Aquí," designed to give immigrant families a crucial toolkit for stability in the U.S. This session, featuring guest speaker Luz Aranda and experts from Edward Jones, U of Chicago Health, and Illinois Workers in Action (IWA), will cover the three pillars of true family security: financial planning, preventative health, and workplace dignity. Sueño Monarca joined over 150 Volunteers Pack 50,000 Meals at the 4th Annual Romeoville Toyota Meal Packing Event. More than 150 dedicated volunteers came together at Romeoville Toyota and we had a great time!

Fresh Cuts for a Fresh Start
Heading back to school is a big moment—and we believe every student deserves to walk in feeling confident. This season, we're teaming up with local barbershops and salons to offer free haircuts for immigrant and first-generation youth as they prepare for a new academic year. From kindergarten to high school, we're here to support students with small but meaningful acts of care.

She walked away with over 30 brand new books and classroom supplies to kick off the school year strong. Thank you for the important work you do for your students!

Join us alongside DHA for a bilingual celebration of language, identity, and inclusion. Open to the whole community!
JJL Band Spring Fling & Mother’s Day Vendor Fair
Come support local vendors (including Joliet’s own Alexis Ceballos), explore crafts, and enjoy free admission! We’ll be there sharing resources and celebrating community.
Proceeds from our table will be split with Alexis, and the remaining funds will be donated to Monarca to help cover our non-profit status fee.
Flight of the Butterflies
We hosted a special outing to honor Sueño Monarca's connection to butterflies and the inspiring artwork created by local artists. Guests enjoyed an interactive, guided tour through the installations, followed by a group dinner. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate together.
2nd Annual Galentine’s Day Celebration
Sueño Monarca would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our guests for joining us at our 2nd Annual Galentine’s Celebration!
A special thank you to Lilia Torres Rincon from the Romeoville community for teaching us how to create our own heart piñatas and to our incredible volunteer set-up team and volunteers who helped prepare our delicious brunch-themed spread.

We’re bringing women from the community together to share their goals, reflections, and experiences! It’s an inspiring opportunity to connect, support one another, and celebrate accomplishments while looking ahead to the future. The event features a raffle basket and a delicious dinner for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great chance to reflect, set intentions, and build stronger bonds within our community.
