The Dream and Promise Act will cover some 3 million young immigrants and TPS holders, provide them with a path to citizenship, strengthen our economy, and keep families united. Their existence in this country has always remained in a state of limbo and it is time to protect undocumented immigrants from future challenges. This bill is a key way to make it clear to our lawmakers that they have a responsibility to keep our families and communities together! From our school teachers to our neighbors next door, the Dream and Promise Act would provide stability and safety to millions of people who make our community a home. With DACA hanging by a thread and hundreds of thousands of people at risk of losing TPS protections in the coming months, the Dream and Promise Act would ensure families and communities aren’t torn apart by mass abductions and deportations.

Not only do immigrants, DACA recipients, and TPS holders contribute billions to our economy each year, but they’re the very people we spend time with, work with, and care for. Ending DACA and TPS without permanent protections in place would put our communities and economy through unimaginable hardship.
